FAQ
-
What materials do you use?
Traditional Art (Pencil): Artwork made with pencils, watercolors, markers (or a mix of materials). For those who prefer the style of hand-drawn illustrations. Illustrations are scanned and sent to you by e-mail
Digital Art: For digital illustrations I use Procreate, which offers flexibility and precision, and allows me to easily influence and work with different styles and effects. -
Which illustration style should I choose?
The style will depend on your preferences and the project. However, here are some things to consider when choosing a style:
Traditional: Hand-drawn artwork offers a unique and authentic look. Because this method takes more time compared to digital art, traditional art tends to be more expensive
Digital: Digital artwork offers flexibility for changes and a wide range of styles and effects. This option can be more cost-effective. Digital art can lack the traditional, hand-drawn feel that some prefer, and the style can be different from classic pencil illustrations -
What are the usage rights for the illustrations?
The illustrations provided are intended exclusively for use in the specific project stated in your order, such as a scientific article, thesis or presentation. They may not be reproduced for other purposes without the written permission of the illustrator. Any use beyond the agreed-upon project, including but not limited to commercial applications, book publications, or subsequent marketing, requires a separate licensing agreement and may incur additional fees or royalties
